Relieve the pressure at the attachment or cycle the auxiliaries with the machine off. If it keeps happening, suspect a failed check valve or missing dust plugs, because grit on the face stops a clean seat.
That is a routing problem, not a hose problem. Look for a rub point on the stick or boom, a bend tighter than the minimum radius, a missing clamp, or an assembly slightly too short that goes taut at full extension. Add a sleeve, fix the clamping, and rebuild it to the right length and elbow orientation.
Yes, if the manufacturer specifies one. High-torque motors leak internal oil past the shaft by design, and it needs a low-pressure path back to tank. Route it through the return circuit instead and pressure builds behind the shaft seal until the seal fails and the motor follows. It is the cheapest item on an attachment spares list, and the one most often skipped.
It changes how you handle hose more than what you buy. Standard hydraulic hose is rated for Canadian winters, but every hose stiffens in the cold, so the practical bend radius grows and forcing a tight loop can crack the cover. Warm the machine before working the boom hard, and leave extra service loop on anything installed in winter.

Bring the failed assembly if you can. If not, send photos of both ends looking straight down the fitting, one from the side showing the elbow angle, the overall length measured end to end, the hose ID or printed layline off the cover, and the machine make, model and year. Yes. We ship across Canada from stocked inventory and keep two Ontario counters for pickup. For remote sites, order early in the day and give us your deadline so we can confirm what is on the shelf before you commit to a courier.
